Our educational goal is to help children become healthy Christians who love Jesus and follow His life.
As of early 2024, 23 children attend the Sunday school. The children take part in our Sunday service where they perform a song/memory verse, or explain to the congression what they’ve been learning.
They are divided into two age groups:
Younger children: 2 to 11 years old
- 17 attendees
- Bible stories and songs
Teens: 12 to 16 years old
- 6 attendees
- themes by Children’s department of the Presbyterian Church of Mauritius
- additions with curriculums of the Presbyterian Church of Korea and the Presbyterian Church (USA)
- Montessori method (connecting various subjects such as history, geography, music and art)
Future plans
We aim to recruit and train new teachers to enhance the educational experience.
We are also looking to provide helpers for children aged 1-3, whether it be parents orother ladies, to ensure a supportive learning environment.
