The Synod Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Mauritius was held on Saturday 26 April 2025 at St Jean Church. The following are the main decisions arising from this meeting:
- Mr. Douglas Nelson has been elected as the new Moderator. He succeeds Mr. Eddy Rocves who has been Moderator for 3 consecutive years.
- Posting of pastors
- Pastor Nicole Armand will be responsible of the parishes of St-Jean (Port-Louis) and St-Pierre (Pointe-aux-Piments). She will be assisted by assistant pastors Claude Martial and Chantal Sissace respectively.
- Pastor France Cangy will be responsible of the parish of St-Joseph (Grand Gaube).
- Pastor Maurice Davantin will be responsible of the parish of St-André (Rose-Hill). He will be assisted by Assistant Pastors Ginette and Jocelyn Dennemont.
- Pastor Inkyu Choi will be interim pastor of St Columba, assisted by assistant pastor Viviane Tessier.
- Pastor Jean Ernest Koera will be responsible of the Malagasy parish.
- Pastor Rodney Curpanen will be the director of the Ecumenical Theological School (ETC).
- Pastor Natacha Noyan will be the director of the Bible Society.
- Pastor David White will be responsible for the succession of new pastors, he oversees their integration, support and the development of their ministry. He will also represent PCM at the Council of Religions.
