DM, partner of the PCM, organized a webinar on September 12 on the theme: Prevention against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH). About ten members of our Church participated.
Led by Ms. Claudia Bucher, head of the DM project, this online presentation is part of a prevention policy in an PCM-DM cooperation partnership, and also to promote exchanges of people. This sharing is a way of acting in the event of abuse, on how to handle the subjects.
The interactions were enriching to the extent that there was agreement on the opportunities to raise awareness, identify and address challenges, if one witnesses cases of abuse, particularly physical, psychological or social, even at the religious level. Humanitarian aid is an important factor, the speakers stressed, because the dignity of the victim is at stake.
The EPM is called upon to explore these themes in greater depth.
