The government, through the Mauritius Revenue Authority, allows all taxpayers to deduct from their tax form any donation to charitable institutions up to a maximum of Rs 50,000 for the financial year ending 30 June.
Those wishing to take advantage of this benefit are asked to pay their contributions and donations electronically to the Church’s charitable institution, the Presbyterian Welfare Service (PWS), ABSA bank account No. 172015816. A receipt will be issued to all donors for tax deduction purposes.
